Today’s fuel injected motorcycles are equipped with the latest electrical technology. Fuel injection allows the motorcycles fuel to be ran by a computer. This computer technology is harnessed in a little black box called an ECM (Electronic Control Module). This module or ECM controls all the Vitals of your motorcycle such as the Fuel. These modules are the so called Brains of your Bike. These black boxes are generally installed at the OEM factory and are restrictive of how much fuel they can put through the stock injectors. These modules are tuned at the factory on a few test units. Then they are programmed and installed on your bike. This factory program is set in stone and cannot be re-programmed. As we all know some motorcycles may run better than others off the shelf and if you have put any new performance products on your motorcycle then it is being restricted by this stock ECM. That’s where we come into play.
